On 08/12/20208/12/2020, I told a supervisor at the time that I did not feel well. I have made it known as much as possible with management that I have a mental disorder andthat can sometimes affect my emotional state. On that day particularly, I had very high anxiety and stress, and felt as ifthough I was suffocating (due to my PTSD and bipolar disorder). I made it known and told a supervisor, and I was told to tell HR at the front desk. and onceOnce I told HR, they immediately assumed I had COVID-19, and told me i haveI had to leave. and theyThey also suspended my badge and said that until I was tested, I can’tcouldn’t return . But atAt the time, I was moving out of the state, and had already put in my 2 weekstwo weeks' notice in, so I did not have enough time to get tested, butand I never once said that I was sick; I only said that I DID NOT FEEL WELL. I called out for those daysin on the following days, but received an email on 08/16/20208/16/2020 stating that I was being released fordue to having more than 6 credits, so I stop calling outin, assuming I was fired for not getting tested. This experience was entirely unprofessional, and has added a lot of stress while I've been moving. I only wish to have my reasoning for termination changed.
