Tempoyak is a typical food from Lampung. This food has a sweet, sour, savory taste, and a pungent aroma, so that it becomes a distinctive taste. Usually, Tempoyak is used as a side dish when eating rice and a mixture to make chili sauce.
Tempoyak comes from durian fruit which is fermented with a little salt, then cayenne pepper is added to speed up the fermentation process. After that, the dough is tightly closed and stored in a closed place. The fermentation process is carried out for

Tempoyak also has benefits such as being able to maintain the immune
system and digestive systemsystems in the body. However, if we consume a lot of Tempoyak, we will feel nauseous and dizzy. And also, Tempoyak should not be consumed together with drugs because it will cause poisoning.
