Good Morning All,

This morning, we received a phone call from Valerio’sValerio, the house manager for CivicCivics, and unfortunately, last night, 3 support workers pulled out of their first shifts for our 2 new participants, Jennifer Cramer and Paul Cooke.

These 2 participants have just transitioned from Cumberland Psychiatric Hospital to the Civics SIL Facility Inin Turramurra.

After the no-shows of the support workers, Mr. Salfu Kallay took the initiative to fill in an 8-hour shift himself whilst helping our nursing staff and preventing the participants from cancelling services.

After Salfu’s Bigbig night at the CivicCivics SIL Facility, he came ininto the office at 8am within the same clothes he wore the day before.

On the behalf of HCA and Management, we appreciate all the hard work and the long hours you have donededicated for the past 10 months, always going above and beyond for participants and for HCA.
