Some people believe that most of the population areis informed about their health condition and the ways to improve their health status in the modern era. Although there are multiple ways to get informed about health conditionconditions these days, I completely disagree with the above statement.
As we know, most people all-overall over the world are living in developing countries. Many people in these countries are struggling to satisfy their basic life needs like sanitary water and food and have a low education level. The shortage of healthy water supplies takes the lifelives of multitudesa multitude of these people, and this problem is even getting even worse as these people lack enough knowledge to avoid many waterborne diseases that could be prevented by simple measures like boiling the water or by elimination ofeliminating certain parasites. SinceBecause prevention of these diseases requires money and knowlegeknowledge provided by governments and health organizations, relying on people’s knowledge in these areas seems to be defective.
On the other hand, people in developed countries are suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer that originate from their urban lifestyle. Although many of the people have some rudimentary knowledge about the origins of these diseases, they have no time and power to counteract the drastic effects of their lifestyle. As most employees work in a stressful and sedentary status and have to consume fast food or junk food to work as efficiently as they can, this knowledge cannot encourage them to prevent the chronic diseases.
In conclusion, people in both developing and developed countries lack enough information to deal with their own disease types, hence solving. Solving mankind’s health issues calls for a close cooperation between governments and global health organizations.
