Hello Everyone,

I am pleased to announce you that there will be new education incentives at Westcoast Janitorial Services offered to the employees. This educational program will be available starting January 1st, 20202021 for all employees of Westcoast Janitorial, regardless of length and location of employment. The program will allow you to receive free college tuition and books toat British Columbia Institute of Technology for any of your program choice. However, there are criteria for number of courses you can take, which dependsdepending on the number of hours you work, as shown below:

Numbers of hour worked per week Courses eligible to take
40-2626-40 hours Three courses
25-1616-25 hours Two courses
15-1010-15 hours One course
Less than 10 hours Not eligible

If you want to increase your work hours to be eligible for more courses, please talk tospeak with your supervisor or management about it. Those of you who chooseschoose to participate in this program will continue to earn your usual salary, and time spent in class learning will not be counted towards it. Your salary will not be affected by your grades, although we want to hear about your success and achievements. If you have any question about the program, you can stop by the head office before or after your shift, and we would be happy to answer all your inquiries.
