Even though there areIbsen used only three words that Ibsen used to title this play, but they are powerful and meaningful to the story. The title of the play does not give us a basic idea of the theme. Since it is, and only at the end thatdo we realize why the play bears that name. One of the main charactercharacters feels that she is prey to both her husband and father. As, as she has lived almost all her life as a doll in the house of boththeir two houses. Nora, the main character, is a woman who lives with her husband and three children. She thinks that her husband is everything to her and lives very happily. But sheNora hides a secret that is killing her inside. She is very strong since she keeps, keeping this secret for a long time without telling anyone, and she does itso to protect her husband. The doll represents Nora who is, the main character of the play, and the house stands for the house of Helmer, where Nora lives.
