Nowadays, the new technologies, such as the internet or the development of computers, have caused an awful effect on the use of public libraries. In thosethese last years, fewer people are using them and the need of them is being youngerless.

On the one hand, there are people who still bookrent some books in libraries. They are mostly people from more than 50 years old. Those, prefer reading from a paper instead of being looking toat a screen for a long time.

On the other hand, most of teenagers stopped going to libraries since the internet became a oartpart of their daily lifestyle. However, some of them still go to libraries when they are at the university.

Taking this all into account, public libraries are still useful for people of all ages, even if using the internet is a faster way to search for information about anything.
