Hello Ms. Post,
My name is Snehil Pulluri and I am a sophomore at the high school.
A fellow student, Rishi Manoharan, and I are creating a new club at MHS Calledcalled the National History Day (NHD) club.
To create this club, we need an advisor to house the students during the bi-monthly meetings that we plan on having. These meetings, if everything goes according to plan, will be either on Mondays or Wednesdays. We would prefer a history/social studies teacher, so that's why we are specifically asking you!
With all that said, is there a day that you usually stay after school so that we could discuss the club with you, and if it's something that you would potentially be interested in being an advisor for? I would personally like to talk face-to-face about the club (what it is, goals, important dates, etc.) so it would be great if we could arrange a time to meet up!
If the answer is an immediate no for any reason, that is completely fine! If that's the case, is there any other teacher that you know of that could potentially become the advisor for the club?
