Imagine the taste of the last meal you’ve had, doesn’t matter if it was horrible or
amazing. Ever wondered what’s in it? Not many people really pay attention to the
“Nutrition Facts” located on the back of the packaging, that’s put there by the Food and
Drug Administration (FDA). So many Americans, today, have no idea of the antibiotics,
Steroidssteroids, and harsh chemicals (such as sprays) that are killing our society faster.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)FDA does give us minor restrictions. For
example, a person on food stamps can make grocery purchases, but they can’t
purchase fast food with the card. Why is that? Perhaps the government doesn’t want
everyone to take the easy way out of cooking. Maybe they’re trying to decrease obesity
in the United States. Could it be because they’re concerned for our health? All three of
these reasonings could in fact be why they pay attention to what we eat and our calorie
intake. As the years pass by, there are more people pressuring the idea of letting the ebtEBT
be a credit card for any desired food purchases.
