In the world of LTL, making appointment times can be a challenge asbecause there are a number of pick-upspickups each truck is scheduled to make. Generally speaking, LTL trucks are scheduled to deliver in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. With each stop before our own, this only complicates any chance of making a pick up. If the trucks are routed to switch to pick-upspickups around noon, it would seem that 2.5 hours really doesn’t really set us up for much success, asbecause any number of delays could occur at another stop or while in transit.
Has this always been the cut-offcutoff for LTL trucks? If so, this is probably why they have not had much luck in making the pick-upspickups.
I will ask Manitoulin/Old Dominion to do their best to make the pick up before that time. If you have any suggestions to make, thatthat could improve the odds of making the pick-uppickup, please let me know. We’re well-awarewell aware of the instruction to provide the appt # and to make it before 2:30 PM. Please be advised, that their route dictates their arrival time. I only want to set everyone up forto be as much successsuccessful as possible.
