I am applying for the Deloitte National Leadership Conference at Deloitte, which was listed on the San Jose State University Handshake website. I was excited to see this opportunity because this event matches well with my personal and career goals. I believe that this event will provide me with valuable knowledge and experience that will bring out my leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills. I also see it as an opportunity to network and interact with Deloitte professionals of all levels, who are all unique and exceptional.

I consider this event as an entry point in launching my career with Deloitte. I believe that this event will allow me to improve the skills that I was able to obtain from my previous job experience and develop new skills. My distinctive combination of prior job experience as a Real Estate Agent and experience of working on group projects with other students, have provided me with an ability to solve the problems in both creative and pragmatic wayways, and with an ability to work effectively in teams with diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

I have completed an Associate Degree in Business Administration at De Anza College, with an additional degree in Liberal Arts in Business and Computer Info Systems. I transferred with a 4.0 GPA, and for the last two semesters at San Jose State University, I have continued to maintain an excellent GPA, which demonstrates that I am a hard working and dedicated individual.
