In the film The Girl on The Train, Rachel spends her time taking the train fromto Manhattan and back to kill time. The train goes by the house of her ex-husband, Tom Watson played(played by Justin TherouxTheroux) and his new wife, Anna played(played by Rebecca FergusonFerguson). As she stares out the window of the train, she makes up fantasies about the people she sees. Rachel thinks about the neighbors, Scott Hipwell played(played by Luke EvanEvan) and his Wifewife, Megan Played(played by Haley BennettBennett), who was the former nanny to Tom and Anna. She believes they have true love, something she wishes that she had. Megan ends up disappearing and is later found murdered, and at the time of her death, she was pregnant. In the last few minutes of the movie, we figure out who killed her.
