The year is 2004 and; I am on top of a bus nearing the place where I met my late husband Wilmoth and everything of the past seems to come tumbling back to me. I decided, therefore, to put pen to paper and write this book. First of all, to show how long a journey I have gonebeen through, and also to allow my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends and others to have thean opportunity to know more about me.

Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Genesis 12:1-2- Now [in Haran] the Lord had said to Abram,
