Semiconductor materials exhibit potential characteristics to develop light energy harvesting assemblies. Efforts are being made to design inorganic structures that show improved efficiency toward light energy conversion [1]. FewA few nano-structured devices hadhave meanwhile been reported that isare fabricated with low-cost, low-temperature, atmospheric-pressure along excellent efficiencies [2]. However, intensive research is required in the areas of electronic materials to develop reliable photovoltaic (PV) modules over a large area at a low-cost [3]. The efficiency of PV devices depends on the carrier mobility of donors and acceptors. Researchers are investigating several inorganic nano-materials for high electron mobility. Cadmium Sulfide (CdS) is a material of intense scientific research due to a wide variety of potential applications ranging from photovoltaic to luminescent devices [4-6].
