I took composition I last semester. Even though it was difficult, I still managed to the endcomplete it. I've been always been terrified to write an essay since I was in high school. becauseBecause of English as abeing my second language, composing was my weakness. Since I havehad to take it anyway, I decided to take thisit last semester. It was a challenging course, just as I have beenwas afraid of. It was likely the most difficult course I have ever taken. However, composition helped me realize that to compose a decent paper, there are many steps are involved in the writing process. Throughout this semester, I have had to compose a number of essays using a different kindkinds of methods. While doing the research paper, I learned many things, such as how to use resources from the campus library, how to cite research, how to use quotations properly, orand how to organize my notes. Despite the fact that I still lack howthe ability to deal with composing a decent paper, I am more confident than before. In any case, I think that my writing has developed throughout this semester. Yet, organizing is still a problem, even though I made a progress on some partaspects.
