In fourth grade, if you asked me what I think about basketball, I will probably tell you that it is the worst sport ever invented. In fact, I have never had the chance to play and to learn this sport. I found it very hard and complicated, like a puzzle. Then, the year passed and I started to discover a passion for basketball. I started to like it because it is all about placement. You are constantly running to be a stooand out, - while you’re attracting the attention of your teammates so that they will pass ithe ball to you. I think it's this strange mixture that pleases me.; Tthis funny mix between individual effort and collective success.
The fact that this memory is so precious to me, is that not everyone in school believed in us, not even me. At some point, I was about to quit, but something held me back. I learned that basketball was not just a competition, but rather a team game. Thanks to basketball, I have relationships with people that I never thought twould be friends. with, tThere were tears, joys, and success. That day, I knew I was not alone, and despite my problem, I could crawl on something... Oon Bbasketball! Now, I know that it is thenot just a sport for me, but a passion that makes me unforgettable memories.
