A sad day for Kevin and me. We let our sweet Barney go.
He had a great 16 years and was just the best boy. He was really failing and we were so afraid of letting him go too long like we did with Winnie.
From Missouri, where we adopted him, to Arkansas, to Mexico and then to Florida, he was just happy to be with us.
The first time we ever saw him he was a puppy, curled up, his back to us, in the shelter cage. He turned his head, looked at us, and growled. Kevin said, "We'll take him!"
They took him out, threw him in my arms and it was instant love!
We are going to miss you old buddy. 💔
