Regarding the allegations, Ms. Murdock stateds that she does not want to go to the office and have the charges dropped; she just wants a restraining order. She stateds that the first time she went to the office, she did state that she wanted to drop the charges, but because of the distance of the office, she was unable to make it back to continue the process. Ms. Murdock claims she was informed that she could not get a restraining order at thisat time. She stateds that this iwas the first time an incident like thisat hasd ever happened. Ms. Murdock states that Mr. Holmes was cleaning, and she was sitting on the bed; she states that she told him it was time for him to leave. Ms. Murdock states that he then jumped on the bed and grabbed her. She stateds that she told her kids to run into the room and shut the door. Ms. Murdock states that she then called the police, and he left. She states that when she waked downstairs with her children, looking for the police, he came the stairs towards her with a knife. She stateds that she was still on the phone with the police when he was coming towards her. She says that while he was walking down the stairs towards her, he stated that he would kill her. She confirms that Mr. Holmes grabbinged her by the throat, madeking her become dizzy and light headed. She states that he did pinned her up against the wall and punched her with a closed fist into her head. She confirmeds that she hasd called the police before, back in April, but that she was not physically assaulted at that time. Ms. Murdock stateds that a pieace bond was placed on Mr. Holmes., and the Ffamily was placed on a safety plan. SThe safety plan states that Ms. Murdock will follow the protective order currently in place. It also states that when the protective order ends, she will get a new one. SThe safety plan also states that we will send Ms. Murdock domestic violence resources, and that Mr. Holmes will not re-enter the home. SThe safety plan takes effect on June 24, 2016.
