I, CPS iInvestigator Sharrai Benavides, spoke with Robert Atkins today at the Harris County Jail. Mr. Atkins confirmed his DOB as February 17, 1991 and stated that he is 25 years old. Currently, Mr. Atkins is living with his mother Betty Trion and sister Odessa Atkins at 23106 Summer Gate Dr. Spring, TX. He provided his cell phone number as 713-226-9018 and stated that he is not currently working at this time. Mr. Atkins has one daughter Za'Laina Atkins and stated her DOB as June 8, 2013. Mr. Atkins says that neither he nor has child have ever received counseling, or left the state of Texas in the last 5 five years. Mr. Atkins verified a criminal history of aggravated robbery and assault against Jasmin Gatlin. He also stated that he has no history of drug or alcohol abuse and only drinks occasionally. Mr. Atkins has no prior history with CPS and states he does not know who watches his daughter when he is not with her. He has no weapons in his home. Mr. Atkins stated that he has no history of domestic violence, abuse, or neglect as a child. He states that he does not have to discipline Za'Laina and does not use physical abuse. As a child ,Mr. Atkins says that he was disciplined by his mother and grandmother.
