Generally, most of the cutting failures have been observed near the mountain area in Sri Lanka. Infiltration, surface erosion, man made activities and bad constructions are eaffected factors for these slope failures. Most of the retaining wall was observed these according to these affected factors.f Failured of the retaining wall behind the Diyathalawa bus stand was studied in this research on the base with me.t The main objective is resobtainlving out on affect factors of the retaining wall failure.
