After the realization set in that I wouldn't make it as an astronaut (I was gooddespite having done well in physics though), I spent many years applying my passion for science and engineering to discoverinto discovering new technologies and promotepromoting industrial innovation.
So it is no surprise that I ended up obtaining various degrees in multidisciplinary fields, such as chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, process improvement, and business administration. My eagereagerness to learn helped me conquer opportunities to study and work at world leading institutions across the globe throughout severalover the years.
Today, I am a well-rounded and cross-functional R&D Manager with a strategic view whichthat utilizes applied sciences to lead continuous process improvement and propel business innovation.
To me, being an innovation leader is not just about driving a design process, managing a research project, or launching a new product. It goes way beyond this. Innovation must be fully embraced in every segment of the business in order to effectively inspire people to reach for the unknown.
