I, resident of SU-61, am writing this letter to bring to your attention that at the end of street 3A, right next to my house, there is an extensive overflowing sewer which needs to be fixed immediately. It has been overflowing for the past year. Multiple complaints have been made, by myself and other residents, to the REC office via phone and in person but no heed has been paid to them.

The foul smell of sewage greets one when stepping out on the street every time. The dirty water is possibly a hot-bed of diseases and a growing health hazard concern. This situation has caused grief to the street 3A residents, all of whom pay the REC a hefty sum in maintenance charges regularly.

The issue needs to be resolved on an emergency basis. On behalf of myself and other concerned residents, I request you to take appropriate steps immediately.
