I got in touch with the faultyfaculty of Cal State Long Beach concerning the capabilities that they can perform tensile testing for the Dog-Bonedog-bone configurations that we molded for material that underwent regrind. I’ve attached the email with the response on pricing that it would cost per sample and details for testing them. With that being said, I also reached out to three different Labslabs located in California that can perform tensile testing.

From the parts that I molded
, I had three different materials: Polycarbonate White, Polycarbonate Black, and Polycarbonate WhiteClear. For the dog-bones, parts were manufactured with each respective material using virgin material, 1st pass regrind, and 2nd pass regrind. The testing procedure that I have looked into is ASTM D-638 of which the minimum sample size per material to test is 5EA. That gives a total count of 9 materials with a sample size of 5 to test a total of 45 samples.
